Downtown Broken Bow is not as bad as it looks. Really. There are a lot of vacant spaces, but there are quite a lot of delightful, treasure shops. My favorite is the Quilt Shoppe. She has thousands, yes, thousands of bolts of fabrics. Whimsical, baby, camo, retro, country french, toile, fabrics with prints from all genres -- firefighters, dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cowboys, rainbows, flowers, birds, geometric, stripes, circles, prints, solids, and on and on. If you have decor need - she has the fabric to fix it. Free sewing room on Tuesday. Bring your own sewing machine or quilt project. Lots of free sewing advicee too.
Not a crafter? How about camo? Bruton's Dry Goods and Clothier offers boots, guns, fishing equipment, children's shoes, clothing and more.
Not a hunter? How about a milkshake then? Sherrill's Drugstore can fill your Rx and they make a wicked hand-dipped ice cream milkshake.
Need to check in at the office? Computers and wi fi for your laptop at the Broken Bow Library.
Treasures at the Mostly Memories Antique store, and much more.

Never would have guessed B&N Hardware store would be that interesting, but oh boy, they are friendly, helpful, will order anything for you, and seem to already have everything. Cool stuff you didn't know you needed!
Need a gun? The pawn shop has guns, cameras, DVDs, jewelry and more.
